A new high grade zinc find near its flagship Pinargozu mine in Turkey.
The company said exploration crews intersected three metres of massive sulphide mineralization, averaging 52% zinc, in an area located about 150 metres south of the underground mine workings.
Diamond drill hole PPS-17-009 was drilled from surface and intersected the zinc mineralization at a vertical depth of 184 metres.
The latest find underscores the company’s belief that there is a lot more high grade zinc to be found in the vicinity of the Pinargozu mine, a joint venture held equally by Pasinex and its Turkish partner Akmetal AS.
Pasinex was in the news recently when it announced that it has agreed with Eurasian Minerals Inc. And their Turkish subsidiary to amend their royalty agreement for the property.
